Koraly Lauzon is a young songwriter and producer determined and eager to move her musical career forward.
At the age of 6, she was already performing on the stage as a classical, jazz and hip-hop dancer. From the age of 8, she started taking piano lessons, an eye opening experience for her as she was already creating her own ballads. Rather than learning existing songs, she preferred creating her own to express herself.
She now knows that music is her destiny. In 2011, Koraly performed across Quebec, while participating at writing workshops with the renowned Claude Lemesle (Joe Dassin, Michel Sardou, Serge Reggiani). It is with all the valuable guidance received that she pursues her creative process.
In 2014, she was chosen to be part of Solid Hits, Supersonic and recently Iconik Live Band to play live during corporate events such as the Casino de Montreal, the Acadians’ Oktoberfest, at Le Palais des Congrès of Montreal and Quebec City. During the same year, she sang the national anthem at Percival Molson Stadium in Montreal. In 2015, Koraly went to Hong Kong to sing during the New Year celebration, joined by fireworks in the background. She also performed twice for the Prime Minister at Quebec’s Parliament, and she sang at Montreal’s Grand Prix. Her voice can be heard on “Astronaute” and “Derrière toi” on the album “Pluie de grêle” (2015) by the artist Blé.
While she was very busy performing in concert, she shared an a cappella video of herself performing “Croire en toi” which caught the attention of Christian Marc Gendron’s (Mario Pelchat, Roch Voisine, Brigitte Boisjoli) and Jean-François Giguère from Productions Girafe and lead them to work together. CMG co-wrote with the songstress, songs that she performed during a Christmas Concert with Manon Séguin and Marie-Pier Perreault.
A couple of years later, she met Jean-Sébastien Baciu (Roch Voisine, Jonas and The Massive Attraction) and the producer Jay Lefevbre (Simple Plan, Roch Voisine, Olivier Dion). Together, they co-wrote her very first single “Ton retour”, which became very popular in France, and the song “Génération”, which reached #8 in the Top 100 Palmares Radio Adisq as well as being in the Top 25 BDS Radio Pop Adulte.
Koraly won June’s “Talent to discover” (Talent à Découvrir) in 2016 at Rouge FM. At the same time, she announced her signing with the label CMG Musique for the release of her first album, coming up in fall 2018.
The singer songwriter loves teamwork. She recently collaborated with the songwriter/producer Patrick Bouchard (Marie-Mai, Bon Cop Bad Cop 2) and the producer Ruffsound (Koriass, Sans Pression) for her most recent urban, pop single “Rêver Haut”.
Koraly Lauzon is always looking for new challenges and to share her contagious positive vibe!
