Originally from Winnipeg, Zach grew up in Quebec where he developed a love for music at a young age—a passion inherited from his father. Despite achieving success in sports throughout his youth, he occasionally picked up the guitar since adolescence. It wasn’t until 2021 that Zach Chico officially ventured into music to showcase his talents as a singer-songwriter. In close collaboration with Benjamin Nadeau (known for his work with Dee Holt, Pelch, William Cloutier and others), Zach Chico unveiled his debut single “The Days” in June 2023. A few months later, in October 2023, he contributed to the success of the song “Bruce Wayne” by the group Mc12, which climbed to the 23rd position on the Quebec top 100 radio charts. Following the nostalgic charm of his debut single, the promising young Canadian country artist, reveals his unwavering resilience in his latest release, “Hometown”. Seamlessly blending infectious melodies with poignant lyrics tinged with melancholy, the song beckons listeners to reflect, cherish, and embrace growth. A couple months later, he collaborated with King Melrose on the French Version of ‘’Hometown’’, which climbed to the 26th position of the Quebec top 100 radio charts. He also collaborated with Classe Moyenne on the song « Je me souviens » which climbed to the 29th position on that same chart. Allow yourself to be embraced by the deep, soothing voice of Zach Chico and his brutally honest, yet, relatable lyrics.
