Audrey Gagnon, born in Saguenay, has been involved in many competitions since her tender age. She won her first prize in 1993 with the Chanson en fête of Saint-Ambroise contest, for the7-12 y-o group. She was semi-finalist at the Festival de la chanson de Granby in 2000, and later she took part in Star Académie in 2005, and became female finalist of the show.

The Star Académie 2005 album sold more than 200,000 copies and received the Félix Album Album of the Year – Best Seller prize. In 2006, Audrey co-hosted the 3rd season of Demandes Spéciales, which aired on TVA. In 2007, she performed on the Montreal Casino stage with the show Summertime.

She worked on her album Ad Vitam, which came out in 2008. For her young age, she had already collaborated with artists such as Chris Deburg, Diane Tell and Corey Hart, in addition to performing as the 1st act for Patrick Normand, Richard Séguin, Michel Legrand and Mario Pelchat.

In 2013, she took part in the Mario Pelchat and friends show alongside Nadja, Marc Hervieux, Patrick Bourgeois and Marc-André Fortin, and then put a pause on her career to devote herself to her life as a new mother.

In 2015, she launched an EP N’attends pas demain. Back in style in 2018 with her single L’ombre de toi, Audrey is currently working on new songs to be released later in 2019.
