Singer and musician from an early age, benjamiin (Benjamin Nadeau) first stood out at the age of 15 when he joined the MixMania adventure, before co-founding the group Mc12 in 2013. Full-time director for more than six years now, benjamiin has been producing and composing refreshing and dynamic works for many artists such as William Cloutier, Ludovick Bourgeois, Dee Holt, PETiTOM, Pelch, Sydney, as well as for certain songs on the album of the 2022 cohort of Star Académie. After having produced and composed more than 120 songs which have accumulated 30 million listens to date, it is now his turn to unveil a new facet of his art with his first solo EP i’m not gonna die (2023).

benjamiin (Benjamin Nadeau) recently released his first solo EP ‘i’m not gonna die‘ in March 2023. Moreover, the remix of one of the titles of this EP, ‘never thought it’d be over‘ performed by Tep No, Pete Alauk and benjamiin and co-written by the latter, Cinzia Abbate, Jérémie Plante and Pierre-Alexandre Aucoin has accumulated more than 206,400 Spotify streams in barely a month.
He has collaborated many times with singer-songwriter dee holt and co-wrote her latest album ‘i’ll be there‘ (2023) (with dee holt and Audrey-Louise Beauséjour). He also produced the album. The single ‘better‘ from the EP ‘i’ll be there‘ has racked up around 500,000 streams across platforms since January 2023. And together, they’ve racked up over 14 million streams across all platforms.
With his group mc12, Benjamin Nadeau has more than 4.5 million streams on all platforms and their song ‘Dancing on the Edge‘ has been on the ADISQ top 100 franco charts for 29 weeks (2023).
He co-wrote the song ‘Rêveurs‘ by Ludovick Bourgeois (Ludovick Bourgeois, Benjamin Nadeau) which was twice Hit of the Week and was the Strong Reaction in the ADISQ charts in 2022. The song climbed to the Top 10 of the corresponding charts during 9 weeks. Still with Ludovick Bourgeois, Benjamin Nadeau co-wrote ‘Je fais partie de ce monde‘ which was on the charts for many weeks and reached the 4th position.
He has collaborated many times with William Cloutier and more recently, the songs ‘Comme des cons‘ and ‘Ce soir je danse‘ have made their way to the ADISQ Mediabase charts. These two titles appear on the album ‘On ira‘ (2022) co-written by William Cloutier and Benjamin Nadeau and produced by the latter. Together, they have racked up over 4 million streams across all platforms.
He has also collaborated extensively with singer-songwriter Pelch (Guillaume Pelchat) and he co-wrote his most recent EP ”Looking Around” released in 2022 and his single ‘How Many Kids‘ has racked up over 1,418 800 Spotify streams since. Along with Benjamin, Pelch has racked up around 7-8 million streams across all platforms.
After many collaborations with PETiTOM, together they have accumulated around 2-3 million streams on all platformes. PETiTOM also made the cover of the ADISQ charts in September 2022 for the single ‘Monnaie’ (co-written by Benjamin Nadeau, Frédéric Carrier and Tommy Tremblay).
