From a young age, Montréal beatmaker KingAlexBeats was immersed in music, growing up in his father’s studio, where Salvadorian producer and sound engineer Doc Filo nurtured his interest in production. “He saw I was more into production than singing,” Alex recalls. “He set up a computer in my room, showed me FL Studio, and I was hooked.” By 9 or 10, his computer became his PlayStation.

At 23, KingAlexBeats is already a respected name in the local hip-hop scene, collaborating with artists like FouKi, Shreez, Mike Shabb, and Maky Lavender on his albums King (2022) and Roi à la naissance (2024). Known for his sharp trap beats, pop rhythms, and occasional Latin influences, KingAlexBeats draws from his Salvadorian, Guatemalan, and Ecuadorian roots.
