Betty Bonifassi will present her new songs in the first show of her brand new project named Chants d’esclaves, Chants d’espoir, on Thursday October 24th at Centre Phi, 20h. Betty Bonifassi will be accompanied by her two precious collaborators: Jean-François Lemieux and Benjamin Vigneault.

Betty Bonifassi’s Chants d’esclaves, chants d’espoir is a tribute to black songs from 1920’s in an electrofunk remaining of this universe. Songs from prison, forced labour camps, railroads or calls, all of these chants were originally created to help maintain an often inhuman workload.
