Betty Bonifassi’s album, directed by Jean-François Lemieux and Alex McMahon, is a tribute to black songs from 1920’s in an electrofunk remaining of this universe. Songs from prison, forced labour camps, railroads or calls, all of these chants were originally created to help maintain an often inhuman workload.

The concert/launch for Betty Bonifassi’s album will take place at Cabaret du Mile-End on September 22nd 2014 à, 20h. Betty Bonifassi will be accompanied by her two precious collaborators: Jean-François Lemieux (also co-songwriter and director on the album) and Benjamin Vigneault.

Betty Bonifassi’s album will be avalaible on September 23rd 2014 and is in pre-sale on iTunes now.
