For over 20 years, Ariane Laniel has been a vibrant and timeless artist who oscillates between pop and folk while embracing country.
Over the summer of 2024, she launches L’autre, an EP in which she reveals a new side of herself, one that isn’t immediately visible. The singer-songwriter also announces a launch concert for the EP which is held on September 18th of that year. Near the end of 2024, she participates in the Bloc Notes Songwriting Camp, where she works on her new single Ma vie sur pause with Charles Guay, Debbie Tebbs and Koraly. She releases the single in April of 2025.

After experiencing some lessons and disillusionments, she returns with greater clarity but all the brilliance we know her for. Her snippets of stories illustrate the thrilling beginnings or abrupt endings of romantic relationships, and all the gray areas in between. She weaves anecdotes and captivating rhythms, enveloping them in her warm, melodic voice that charms all generations. As a teenager, Ariane made her mark on Quebec’s culture as a soloist in “Aucun Regret,” the first edition of Mixmania (2002). She performed with the group at the Bell Centre four times. She reflects on the experience and describes its impact on her artistic journey in “Mixmania: the documentary, 20 years later,” which was number one on Crave upon its release. In the meantime, she completed a college diploma in music and then self-produced the EP “Mon Bordel,” in a pop-country style, which she showcases on both small and large stages across Quebec. “Mon Bordel” earned her radio play on Sirius XM and Stingray.
