It is at the age of fourteen that Claude’s musical career started when he formed his first group. Rapidly, his passion for music lead him to write his first songs, highly influenced by the musical legends of our time. At this time, Claude already dreams of being able to live of his writing. As time passes, he makes his place in the industry, following a path that leads him to write many hits acknowledged by his peers.

His career was off to a respectable start in 2000, with such titles as Les faits contraires, J’veux que tu saches and À l’abri, interpreted by Marie-Chantal Toupin, as well as many other titles that have become classics over time, such as Naître, Soirée de filles and Toé c’est moé, all certified Platinum (100 000 copies sold).

Claude also wrote the song J’irai au sommet, theme song for the movie based on Maurice Richard’s life. He has reached such summits many times throughout his dynamic and constantly evolving career. Claude has collaborated on many other projects as a writer, an arranger and as director.

Such projects include composing the hit Comment j’feel, on Star Académie’s Maritza’s first album, Cindy Daniel’s album La petite Indiène, Dave Bourgeois, Jorane, RMO and the album Déchire, Déthier, the self-titled album and Les Divas du Québec with it’s theme song Ensemble. Claude is constantly writing new material and preparing new local and international hits.
