Gautier is a producer, songwriter, sound engineer and musician from Montreal. He studied the classical violin from the age of 5, which he practiced until secondary 5, then the guitar. He began his career at the famous Studios Piccolo in Montreal, with which he still collaborates, and where he worked with Celine Dion, Simple Plan, Corey Hart.
He then jumped to Toronto and Boston to work with a director who had spent time at Jimi Hendrix’s Electric Lady Studios in New York. Back in Quebec, Gautier officially began his career as a producer and musical director.
Over the years, Gautier Marinof has collaborated with several artists including 2Frères, Jonas Tomalty, Désirée, Simon Morin, Mélissa Ouimet, Marie-Pierre Arthur, Jérôme Couture, Olivier Dion, Yvan Pedneault, Alexe Gaudreault and Marc Dupré for whom he has composed the song ʺLà dans ma têteʺ which won him a SOCAN award for song of the year at the 2017 ADISQ gala. Behind the curtains, Gautier is always working on renowned Quebec artists projects, both as a director and as a songwriter, most of the time resulting in titles at the top of the radio charts.
